FAQ
Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, call 022 199 4857 and we will talk it through.
Does teeth whitening hurt?
Most people feel little to nothing during a session. Some notice mild, short-lived sensitivity afterwards, which usually settles within a day. We keep every treatment gentle and check in with you throughout, so you are comfortable from start to finish.
How long do whitening results last?
It depends on your habits. Coffee, tea, red wine and smoking all speed up staining. With sensible care most people enjoy a noticeably brighter smile for several months, and a quick top-up keeps it looking fresh.
Are tooth gems safe?
Yes, when they are applied properly. We place each gem on the surface of the tooth using a gentle bonding method, with no drilling and no damage to the enamel. When the gem is removed the tooth is left exactly as it was.
How long do tooth gems stay on?
Every mouth is different, but a well placed gem commonly lasts anywhere from six months to well over a year. If one ever comes loose, get in touch and we will sort it out for you.
Do tooth gems damage your enamel?
No. The bonding we use sits on the surface and does not involve drilling or filing the tooth. Removal is just as gentle, so your enamel stays intact.
How do I look after my teeth after whitening?
For the first day or two, go easy on strongly coloured food and drink while the enamel settles. Otherwise it is simple: brush and floss as normal, and book a top-up whenever you feel your smile could use a lift.
Do I need a dentist referral to book?
No referral is needed. We are a private cosmetic studio and you can book a consultation directly with us. If you have a specific dental concern, we are always happy to suggest you check with your dentist first.
How do I book an appointment?
We work by appointment only, one client at a time, so every visit feels calm and unhurried. Send us an enquiry through the site or give us a call, and we will find a time that suits you.
